I was inspired by the art term: dépaysement which means combining far different objects and scales in one screen to make an impact to the audience. It was often used for surrealistic artworks, therefore, I simply wondered to make voids on my body. When I think about having void, it represents emptiness that I randomly and sometime feel. I desired to fulfill the hole, and I was thinking about what is the best thing to fill my void. In this work, I used gloryhole, which is home to me while I am working in hotshop.
